THE WORD

   For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.                                                Hebrews 4:12

"that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith".

                                                    Eph 3:17  AV

Despite fierce opposition, abuse and attempts to weaken its witness and message by false teachers, the Christian Faith is still a glorious reality to a countless number of people.  What is the secret of its survival and success?  Good organisation that is both firm yet flexible has played its part; brilliant and godly scholars have expounded the Gospel to all who will listen and study God's Word; persecution has strengthened the spirit of those who acknowledge the Lordship of Christ.  The survival of Christ's Church is one of the miracles of the age.

Yet the true glory of the faith does not lie in good organisation; in sincere and godly scholarship; or in mutual help in times of harassment; but in the glorious and wonderful truth that the Living Christ has conquered time and space and is alive today as He was two thousand years ago.  If all their lives the Church would be an even greater spiritual force in the world.

The reality of the Living Christ can only be felt in society when He is accepted into the hearts of His morden disciples.  When christians aware that He dwells in their hearts their faith becomes alive and inspiring and the Glory of their Indwelling Christ becomes the Glory of their faith.

Proverbs 3:9-10

Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the first- fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

Proverbs 11:24

There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.

Malachi 3:8-11

"Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed you?'  In tithes and offerings.  You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.  bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, "Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that the will not be room enough to receive it.  "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, "Says the LORD of hosts;
